Conference Information

Registration and Venues
Registration for delegates will start from 12 noon on Wednesday the 18th of October in the Hunter Halls East.

Conference Pack and Programme
A copy of the conference programme, the delegates list and a range of material from our many sponsors will be available in the conference pack.

Internet Access
All conference attendees will be provided with a username and password for Internet access. This must be signed for at the registration desk. There will be a cluster of 6 Internet PC's available in the Hunter Halls East during the conference and these will be available until 2:30pm on Friday the 20th. Wireless is not available in the conference venues.

Note: Delegates will also be able to use the computers in the University Library. Please remember your conference badge to enable you to enter the Library. It is recommended that these computers are used later in the day since they get heavy use by students during lunchtimes.

Tutorials
The tutorial rooms are shown in the Conference Programme. Library staff will be on hand to guide delegates to their room.

Note: The Tutorials are now closed and the numbers were limited. Please don't change your tutorial or drop into one which you have not registered for without checking at the registration desk. It would also be helpful if delegates could let us know if they are not able to attend a tutorial which they have registered for.

Further assistance and Information

Staff will be available on the Registration desk in the Hunter Halls during the conference to assist delegates with any queries they may have or information they may require.

Local Information

Currency
Scotland, as part of the UK uses Sterling and does not use the Euro. Major credit and debit and cards are accepted by shops. Currency can be exchanged at travel agents, main post offices and airports.

Electricity
You may need to bring a travel adapter, electricity in the UK is 240 volts AC, with a three pin plug.

Insurance
The conference fee does not include insurance and delegates are advised to organise travel insurance in their home country prior to attending.
