PURCEL -
Purchasing Decisions of Electronic Resources within HEIs

This six-month project was funded by JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) to investigate the models employed by libraries and information services within the HEI sector for deciding how much of their budget is to be allocated to the purchase of electronic resources, and further to investigate how the method of allocation influences the size of the electronic resources budget and the subsequent distribution by subject or other criteria.
